Well yesterday was SEA Games trial for me. On Saturday I was rather prepared. My whole mind was focusing on the trial hoping that I would do something good this time. But unfortunately on the day of the race itself I ate something wrong, my stomache was aching all the way the last 2km. When I cross the finishing line I rush myself to the toilet. Gosh!

Anyway yesterday's weather was rather good. I started well on the swim and on the bike but unfortunately did a extremely lousy run. Well you can say it was not my lucky day yesterday. I felt alright on the first 2.5km run but when it comes to the 2.5km run my right leg was totally numb. I could not feel my legs I was like rather panicky. I was not totally satisfied with my performance. If nothing would have gone wrong and with me being like my usual self last time probably I could have come in with a rather good time then a 54plus min on the run. Sad.

I was down with quite a bit of injury before trial, one was my right shoulder, one was my right back , and the muscles on my left leg too was pulled. Thank God I got some treatment, but still not totally recover. Maybe it was because of that that my right leg was cramp and I could not do anything to it sad. Even with my dad pushing me I still did not managed to make it.

Actually I was rather surprised with my swim yesterday coming up strong in the swim. For a moment I thought I could have caught up with Macau, Hoilong but well I missed her unfortunately. Then luckily came by HongKong, Christine Bailey and we managed to worked. I did quite a bit of work on the cycling since she was rather tired and was cycling like 32-34km/h so I decided to pull her by doing 36-38kmlh whenever I could. I was very much confident on my cycling this time since I know that I am 3mins away from the last pack. But well unfortunately I could not make the best use of my first part to help me for the run since I was really off form for my run. I guess after this trials I really need to work hard on my running and work hard on losing weight. I am really too fat!

Working on my run is not the hardest! It is losing weight for me that is the hardest! Fats Fats go away! Anyway I need to thank some people who have helped me. Firstly, my dad thanks for pushing me all the way! I really appreciate it hope on day I will really make it there. Next my mummy thanks for getting me the ipod video so that I could watch the ITU videos that really helped me a lot on my transition and swim start. Thanks for the treatment you paid too. Next people (Pat, Clar, the parents, my china friends, and more) who had cheered me on thank you. Sorry for the dissapointment hopefully I can do better the next time yea. Guo jiaolian, thank you so much for putting so much faith in me I'll prove to you I'll make it the next time and work hard on it. Thank you for all your encouragement yea. Actually I never really had such a good start before well hopefully the next time I don't screwed it up. Lastly I forgot to thank my doctor Han yishi, thank him for treating me if not i'll be dead man.

Next I just hope I can go for SEA Games. Meanwhile losing weight is my main aim!

2 days before race day

Started the morning with my dad sending me to East Coast, Then met Mok and his dad at 9am. We had a relax swim and bike at the same time recce the route.Suppose to be running after the biking session but the sky turned dark and started to rain, soI took a cab home.While Mok was sent home by his dad. I was feeling great doing the route having a calm and relaxed mind all ready for Sunday's trial. It was lucky that we went early if not we would not be able to complete what we wanted to complete.

Then I came home, went to the hawker to had my lunch. Followed by going to the gym. Completed 2km warmup run and then followed by 3xs 400m fast sprints interval on the treadmill and then warm down. I finally got to call all my training a day. Got home had massage at 1.20pm all the way till 3pm and now rest. Feeling great till now. Hopefully I'll do well for my competition on Sunday. Now the only problem I got to watch is rest, the amount of food I eat, make sure I don't put on weight, and hydrate enough.

SEA Games Duathlon trial 2

Today morning was SEA Games Duathlon trial 2 (10km,40km,5km). It was the final trial and the top 2 gets to go for SEA Games.

Sad to say I didn't make it at all, I came in last among all the 4 women ( Elaine, Jeanette, Bao Ying) I perform quite badly today. Actually before race I kind of knew that I was not up to it. I haven't really train for my bike and my run due to injuries, school work and funeral here and there. Its not easy to cope with everything yea, really stress.

The first 10km run was not bad for me today, but apparently I screwed up on the bike. And I don't understand why. The first 10km I ran in 46mins which is consider quite good for me, I manage to keep up with BaoYing and eventually caught up with Jeanette on the second 5km. Elaine was way too fast on the run. Then when I got on the bike I was second which was a good position yea. But unfortunately this time I was very weak on my bike couldn't manage to keep up with them.

I slowly lost the confidence in myself to perform as I get slower and start be become a solo rider. I felt my legs getting tired and I was already mentally and physically not there. Then come to the last 5km run, my legs were so tired that I just couldn't last.

In the car, I got lectured by my dad again for performing badly, haiz. I guess thats life yea. It really pressurises me to perform for Osim. Hopefully I can really do well in Osim which is coming up in 2 weeks time. And I guess the only thing I can do for myself to perform for Osim Triathlon is to train real hard , real smart, treat my injuries and lose weight. 2 weeks more man persevere! After that I can really get a short break...

Finally thanks to those who cheer me on. Clement thanks for cheering never expected you would yea. Not forgetting Barry too thank you hope to see you training with us. Elaine, congrats you did well yea. Train hard for Osim yea. You really inspired me today! As for Jeanette and Bao Ying good race for you guys, thanks for helping me too and cheering me to go on. Congrats to the guys too, esp Mok. see you guys soon...
